synopsis:

Anna, the filmmaker from Japan, used to live in the city of Boston during her college time. She lived in the apartment with Saahera, a classmate from Sri Lanka. As good friends and international art students, they had a lot to share. After a couple of years, Anna now has her life back home Tokyo. She gathers the footage and journals from those days with Saahera and puts them together into one film, trying to lead the past-selves towards the bright side.

​学生時代をアメリカのボストンで過ごした作者は当時、スリランカ人の同級生サヘラとアパートを借りて住んでいた。留学生同士の二人は異国の地でお互いを頼りにしながらなんとか暮らしている。

​それから数年後の２０２０年現在、東京に住み慣れた作者は学生生活をふと思い出しサヘラとの日常を撮影した過去の映像を引っ張り出してきて映画を制作。当時の日誌と共に巡る等身大のふたりの姿に少し未来の自身が見出した結末とは。ディア・プレゼント・フューチャー、親愛なるわたしたちの未来へ。
